Dorchester Citizens for Safe Energy
We have gone on record repeatedly as not being opposed to the MAPP project per se. But before supporting MAPP we want to see proof that:

  • The concern regarding the reliability of electric service is genuine;

  • All reasonable solutions have been identified;

  • Each solution has been thoroughly evaluated in a process allowing full public participation; and

  • The proposed MAPP transmission line is the best solution.

While we have asked Pepco repeatedly for this proof, it has NOT been provided as of this date.  Our requests are posted under MAPP Citizens Advisory Council below.

If you'd like to contribute to our quality of life defense fund, then make your check payable to: Dorchester Citizens for Safe Energy
