Sonoran golf course preserved
In 2019, Preserve Vistoso contacted CEDS about the threatened development of the 208-acre former Golf Club at Vistoso. Thanks to the Conservation Fund, the Town of Oro Valley, and CEDS, most of the 208 acres has just been preserved.
With regard to the initial assistance provided by CEDS, Preserve Vistoso Board member Raymond Barth wrote:
“Thank you for your help early on in our journey. It provided us with ideas and hope that it could be done.”
